Definitely a feel-good book. Not sure if this is a children’s book or a YA book (couldn’t be bothered to look it up because it was interesting enough either way for me to give it a try), but there’s definitely a little too on-the-nose stuff for adults and that stuff is repeated a few times, almost word-for-word. But I guess we are living in such times that it makes sense to write that way so that the young are shaped into decent adults.

More than once, a question popped up in my head: what does the American right wing think of this book? Is it banned or were calls made for it to be banned in schools and libraries? I’ll have to do a quick Google search to get my answer. I have a feeling this book would definitely be on someone’s list of books to ban because BLASPHEMY!
